Has anyone felt that over the past 6ish years Sportscenter's quality has declined significantly? Is it merely an extension of our tolerance for poor entertainment if there's a lot of hype and cool special effects?
It seems to me that the trend recently, not just for ESPN but for the entertainment industry generally (huge blanket statement, I know), is to hire very talented behind the scenes people. However, the actors, personalities, etc... themselves have just seemed to be pretty poor. I guess that's what we like. This is not a rant, just an observation.
